Why hire an arborist?
An arborist by definition is an individual who is trained in the art and science of planting, caring for and maintaining individual trees.
ISA Certified Arborist is a nongovernmental, voluntary process by which individuals can document their base of knowledge. Certification provides a measurable assessment of an individual’s knowledge and competence required to provide proper tree care. It involves a 3 year apprenticeship study program, exam, and re certifying every 3 years with sufficient continuing education credits.
Tree care in our eyes is a balance, between trees living in a pristine untouched environment and the stress of an urban setting. This balance is achieved by providing the safety and beauty we desire and a good natural living environment for the urban forest.
You wouldn’t go to just any doctor because they say they know what they are doing but had never been to medical school. A true arborists understanding of how trees grow and heal makes a huge difference in the quality of care for the trees as best for them.
