Treatments
We use several types of treatment applications based on the tree being treated, the product being applied, and site conditions.
Soil Injection: This treatment style uses a metering probe to accurately deliver precise amounts of product dissolved in the water near the roots.
Macro Injection: This treatment style is used for products that have a low ability to translocate through the tree. A small amount of product is dissolved in a large volume of water and slowly injected into the tree under low pressure.
Micro Injection: This treatment style is used for chemicals that are easily absorbed and translocated through the tree. A small amount of concentrated product is injected into the tree and transmitted through the vascular system.
Trunk Spray: This treatment style is used for products and trees that are easily absorbed through the bark. The first 6-8ft of the trunk is sprayed and the product is absorbed into the vascular system just under the bark and transmitted through the vascular system to the upper parts of the tree.
Foliar Spray: This treatment style is used for surface issues such as leaf spot fungi. It involves spraying the leaves with a small amount of product dissolved in a large volume of water.
